Our January thaw has departed leaving us with a coating of ice that has met it’s demise at least on the roads with salt from the truck where available. On sidewalks, etc. I assume folks had best beware ’cause it’s not going anywhere and it will have a coat of snow over it to add to the fun.
For a few days, we got our share of that welcome wave of warm air that swept across the country, closely followed by the cold and snow again. It was refreshing to be on the front edge of that. Felt so good to get outside without shivering. We either set a record or was close yesterday. I had 55 degrees in my tiny backyard. Not today. Big difference getting back into the reality of winter.
