What a Winter Blast we’re experiencing. And I don’t mean just here, I mean all over the place – in places where Winter doesn’t usually make an appearance. Not like it does around here, anyway. Sledding down the middle of a street in Charleston, SC? Really? Yup. Hurricane winds – in the winter – slamming into the East Coast? Snowflakes in Florida? Absolutely. Crazy, extreme weather continues.

Last year we saw weather go nuts and do its utmost to make life miserable and here we are, in a brand new year, heading into the same territory. Extreme weather. The way we’re starting out, makes you wonder what miseries this next year will bring, doesn’t it? Does me, anyway.

Call it Climate Change, call it whatever makes you happy. But what ever you call it, we’re in it. Major cold, heat, drought, flooding, records of all sorts falling by the wayside left and right…you imagine it, we’re getting it. If nothing else, it’s fascinating. For those caught up in the worst of it all, it’s tragic. But no matter where you are in the picture, it’s impossible to guess what we’re going to get next. The only thing we can count on, is it’s probably not going to be good.

Just survive is the secret. Do your best and survive. And hope for the best for the future.
