90% chance of snow possibly mixed with freezing rain for the rest of the day. High in the upper 30s. SW winds 10 -15 mph becoming W in the afternoon with gusts to 30.

Cloudy tonight with a low in the lower 20s. W winds 5 – 15 mph with gusts to 25.

Measured 5″ of heavy wet snow in my little back yard, but I suspect it was more like 6 originally. It’s packing down already -VERY heavy. Just trying to clear even a small patch to toss my bird and critter food out to was a chore. A carefully done chore, but none-the-less…

Not looking forward to this coming Friday because it sounds as if more hideous icy weather is coming at us then. Just in time to screw up New Year’s Day.
