Currently 12 degrees with a W wind of 10 mph dropping that down to feeling like 0. Dew Point 5, Barometer 30.47 & rising, Humidity 71%, Visibility 8 mi, Sunrise 7:56am, Sunset 5:55 pm. Cloudy with a 50% chance of snow showers. High 16

Partly cloudy to cloudy with a 40% chance of snow showers. Low 13. SW winds 5 – 10 mph.

So, the little rodent meteorologist saw his shadow and that means 6 more weeks of winter, right? Since he’s right about 50% of the time, I guess you can take that with whatever faith you can conjure up. At any rate, it’s darn cold here and looks to remain so.

The weather yesterday was weird. As I went into the theater, it was 25 degrees, not a bad day going on. When I came out two hours later it was 16 degrees with a wind blowing to hard it took your breath away. Probably because it felt as if it was full of tiny ice crystals or little bits of hard snowflakes. That wind was strong enough to rock the car on the road and looking into the distance it appeared to be a faint gray screen surrounded everything, a screen that you drove in and out off as you went along. Those tiny ice crystals at work, I suspect.  Cold, just bitter cold.
