Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 South West Michigan – Cloudy Skies, No Big Snow Today

Currently 20 degrees with a WNW wind of 2 mph dropping that only slightly to feeling like 19. Dew Point 11, Barometer 30.47 & rising, Humidity 68%, Visibility 10 mi, Sunrise 7:59 am, Sunset 5:51pm. Mostly cloudy with a small chance of some snow showers, high 27. WSW winds 5 – 10 mph.

Cloudy tonight with a few snow flurries. Low 23. S winds 15 – 25 mph.

Nothing much going on today in the weather. Keeping an eye on next Saturday when it sounds as if we could get some significant snow. We never really know until the happening happens. I always count on the worst and then am pleased when that doesn’t turn out to be the case. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday, but I’ll tend to my errands and traveling around on Friday just in case. Seems like the way to live here in Michigan in the winter. Not that we aren’t occasionally caught off guard, but planning ahead seems the sensible thing. It works for me, anyway.
