Tuesday, Sept 19, 2017 South West Michigan – Morning Rain Possible
Currently 61 with an E wind of 10 mph dropping that to feeling like 60. Dew Point 54, Humidity 79%, Barometer 30.01 & rising, Visibility 10 mi, Sunrise 7:26 am, Sunset 7:44 pm. After a slight chance for some early morning showers, we should end up with a mostly cloudy, 78 degree day. E wind of 10 – 15mph.
Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 63. E wind 5 – 10 mph.
Here we are expecting our heat to ramp back up toward 90 for the next week or so. Most welcome watching this unfold for me.
Not so welcome watching is the threat of Hurricane Maria. My heart hurts for the islands already damaged and destroyed by the last hurricane to ravage them, and now another one bearing down? This is a dreadful prospect for these people. There already is no water, food shortage – all of the comforts we take for granted – are missing. Their homes destroyed or gone…and now they are expected to ‘prepare’ for the next devastation? This is stressful for me, way up here, out of danger. For those people down there? Can’t even imagine how difficult this is for them. My prayers are with them. This active Atlantic hurricane season is proving to be a horror show.
