Wednesday, Sept 13 South West Michigan – Overcast Skies

Currently 55 with a NE wind of 5 mph ignoring it all, leaving it to feel like 55. Dew Point 53, Humidity 92%, Barometer 29.81 & falling, Visibility 10 mi, Sunrise 7:20 am, Sunset 7:55 pm. Heading towards a high of 76 with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain. ESE winds 5 – 10 mph.

Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 51. Light and variable winds.

Rather a drab day as we are experiencing with some of the clouds and a small chance of some rain from the remnants of Irma. Would rather be dealing with a day like this than out in the Rocky’s where there is a place where a winter storm warning is in effect. Seriously? Oh, yes, indeed. What a dismal thought.

Feeling so sad for the southern parts of our nation coping with the utter destruction from two separate hurricanes. Doesn’t even seem possible. One is bad enough, but two of them. So many, many people facing such a long uphill climb from where they are right now trying to regain some sort of normalcy.  So many of them who can ill afford to even think of it let alone tackle it all. Mother Nature is so often a cruel…well, I won’t say it, but I remember Barbara Bush talking about someone a long time ago, and she said, “…it rhymes with witch.” Exactly.
