Saturday, June 10 Southwest Michigan – Here Comes The Heat

There is an Air Quality Alert in effect for today.
Currently 74 degrees with a SW wind of 13 mph only stirring things up occasionally, but letting the temperature basically alone to feel like 73. Dew Point 59, Humidity 63%, Barometer 29.82, Visibility 10 mi. Heading into a mix of sun and clouds, high 88. Our SW wind will be increasing to 20 – 30 mph with higher gusts possible.
Tonight will be generally clear, low of 69. SW winds 15 – 25 mph.
The air is feeling a little heavy this morning but man, I am so enjoying this. Windows still open, but I am wondering if that will be the case all day. Maybe. I know tomorrow the A/C will be cranked ’cause I have family coming to dinner and none of them appreciate hot weather like I do, so I’ll be nice about it. What I dislike is the fact that once that A/C is turned on, it will be turned on for awhile because the entire next week looks to be lurking in the 90 degree range. And I know I’ll be like everyone else appreciating the A/C. I know this. But I sure am going to be happy when the time comes I can get those windows open again. What ever comes along, comes along and we’ll see how it goes. Going to go hot for awhile, that much I know :>)
I so love summer. I am much happier typing about the heat and humidity than I ever am writing about impending blizzards, snow, cold, ice, etc. etc., etc.

Currently 56 degrees with an E wind of 5 mph making it feel like 55. Dew Point 45, Humidity 67%, Barometer 30.07 & rising. Heading for a high of around 73 with sunny skies all day. Tonight the sky will stay clear and we’ll have a low of 50. What a splendid way to start out the month. And almost perfect day. For me it could toss in another 8 – 10 degrees, but I’ll take this and be happy about it. I’m really hoping this new month will be a warmer one than was May. For me, it was too chilly, but hey….I’m the guy who loves heat and humidity. What can I say? Anyway, I am delighted to be heading into one of the ‘summer’ months. Finally. And I’m thrilled to see our new WeatherQuack site take flight. I’m hoping for it to gain flocks of fellow bloggers.
