Tuesday, June 13 Southwest Michigan – Hot With A Chance Of T-Storms

Currently 70 degrees with a NW wind of 5 mph feeling almost non existent and not messing with the temperature number at all. Dew Point 65, Humidity 86%, Barometer 29.96 & rising, Visibility 10 mi. Should be a mix of sun and clouds today with a 60% chance of afternoon thunderstorms. High 85. E winds 5 – 10 mph.

Partly cloudy skies with the chance of a stray t-storms cropping up. Low 64. E winds 10 – 15 mph.

Feeling sticky and close today out there. Happy for the A/C inside – see, I knew I would be. Heading to Lansing today and I’ll likely be lugging a light rain jacket along as there is a good chance of thunderstorms there, too. Might need it. Might not. Oh well….

What a huge part of the nation resting under that enormous red blob of a heat wave. Amazing. Trouble is, we’ve gone from a cooler than normal spring into – whap! – hit hard with some pretty serious high heat. No easing into this. Bad timing or scheduling on somebody’s part.

But it is feeling summery, that’s for sure.
