Look for some great warm weather coming – have to wait until next week, but hey, it’s on the way. As of now. The powers that be are tossing in 2 or 3 80 degree days. Can you believe it? And as for rain – of which we’ve had WAY too much so far- as of now only the next couple of Fridays offer the opportunity for more precipitation. It’s really looking good as of now. Let’s keep our fingers crossed nothing changes.

Looks like plenty of rain today but except for around Friday, doesn’t look – as of now – like any rain coming at us for the next week. Plenty of clouds and not much sunshine, but maybe it will be dry. Not today. Grab that umbrella if heading out today.

Not much exciting about today’s weather. Rather blah actually. Interesting that most, if not all, of the 70 degree days have been removed from this coming week.  Strange, just yesterday I saw 70 degrees predicted everywhere but not now. They have, alas, vanished. With all hope of the first full week of May bringing us proper May weather.   Tomorrow count on solid rain, and coolness.  With what now looks to be a chilly week ahead.  Drat!

The month of May is starting out a bit slow, rather cloudy and not overly warm. However, it can only go up from here. Look for the best chance of a good solid rain coming on Tuesday – at least that’s the picture so far. Might not see them this week, but some 70 degree days coming next week. They’re worth waiting for and goodness knows we’ve done our fair share of waiting for warmth this time around. We’ll get there. Maybe a dab at a time, but hey…anything’s better than cold and snow.

Except for what looks to be a solid chance of rain coming our way on Tuesday, not a bad week on the way. 50-60 degree days. Don’t expect anything in the 70, but the week after? Seems to be on the way. All looking better all the time.

Lovely mostly 60 degree days coming at us this week. And I don’t see any nights arriving where I have to turn on my heated bird bath. Nice to give it a rest now. Plus – it looks as if they’ve taken the rain out of Sunday. That’s terrific. Beginning to see tiny green leaves forming and when I see a clump of blooming Daffodils, my spirits take a huge leap. Could Spring finally be joining us? Let’s say yes.

Maybe no massive warm up but warmer than lately. Should see a lot of 60 degree days coming up. We’ll take that. I’d just like to be able to turn off my overnight heated bird bath. That alone would be a step forward. Right now it looks like a rainy weekend coming up, but rain. Not snow. At this point even that much brings joy. Anyway, lots of blue sky showing up this morning. Might be cool, but it’s bright and cheery. Good enough.

Hard to imagine I’m still turning on my heated birdbath overnight. If I don’t, there’s ice in it. Hopefully…and I keep saying that…this will be the last of the uncomfortable cold temperatures. Goodness knows we’ve seen enough of them. It’s almost the month of May. Look for a bit of a warm up. Not anything massive, but at least more comfortable than what we’ve been having to cope with.

I’m suggesting we all take up a collection and send Mother Nature back to class so she can relearn what the Spring season is all about. Obviously she has forgotten. I’d rather think that than she’s simply being mean with this one. If I hear one more forecast with the word snow in it I shall likely scream. Nobody will hear me or care, but I’ll do it anyway. So…I’m going to be driving off to do errands this morning looking at the likelihood of little snowflakes in the air. Swell.

Don’t be looking for any 70 degree days in the week ahead but we should see plenty of days in the 60s. I guess that’s good. As good as it’s going to get anyway. Tomorrow morning we could tie a record that goes back to the 1920 with a low of around 27 degrees. And we’re heading into May. Can you even imagine any of this???

Not much to say about today besides the fact that it isn’t as warm as Saturday was and it won’t be as chilly as tomorrow’s going to be. Tomorrow is a lost cause. Another 40 degree day that has no place in the month of April. And yet, there it will be. One site has rain…and dare I say it – a chance of a frozen mix? We’re going to totally ignore that one. One has some rain tomorrow. One has just clouds. Let’s go with the nothing but clouds, shall we? At any rate, today will merely be a slide down into whatever tomorrow brings. The only thing we know is it won’t be warm and sunny.
