A lovely morning so far and looks to be a great day for the most part. There is a chance of rain, perhaps a slight chance of some severe weather later this afternoon and evening, but right now it’s looking like a winner of a Saturday. And except for some possible rain about Wednesday, it’s looking like a very comfortable week ahead. No extreme temperatures in either direction. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?

Yesterday was good and hot with today following right close after it. We have another chance to meet or beat our record high temperatures. And I’m loving it. Still looking at some rain moving in on Saturday – probably the afternoon portion – and there could be some gusty winds involved with that. Just keep an eye on things. Sunday’s still looking really good with no rain involved. At least for now.

The heat is upon us. Unseasonable but welcome. At least by me. Happy, happy to have all that heat rolling in the open windows. Loving it. And everything greening up so nicely is marvelous. Look for the chance of some thunderstorms later this afternoon. And Saturday? Hey, right now it’s only a 50% chance of rain, so that means there is a 50% chance there won’t be any, so just think positive. Sunday, for now, is looking lovely.

So…just like that the possibility of rain has managed to weasel into our week. Still hanging on to the 80 degree days but now maybe some rain later today, tonight, tomorrow…geez…almost before my fingers leave the keyboard Mother Nature decides to mess things up. Not a surprise, but still…

Therefore watch out for some rainstorms later on and overnight. Perhaps a bit of rain tomorrow. Still looking at a more or less rainy weekend but as we all can testify, things do have a tendency to switch about, so who really knows? In the meantime, there is the warmth which sort of promises to hang in here for us this week. Guess we’ll enjoy that and keep an eye on the sky and an umbrella handy just in case. Fair enough.

Still looking at about 4 days with the temperatures in the 80s and the likelihood of a rainy weekend next time around. It’s early yet, so maybe that part might change – things do have a tendency to do that, don’t they? But the 80 degrees seem to be pretty certain. Things greening up and flowers popping out everywhere. Flowering trees are gracing the landscape and every one of them is a thing of beauty. Finally, spring seems to have sprung. And what do you know? Just about in time for summer. Better late than never, I reckon.

Still looking at maybe 4 days in the 80 degree range this week, but as of now next weekend is starting to look like a rainy one. Hard to tell from here whether that will materialize or not. The weather does do it’s thing and change from day to day. I’m just hoping the 80 degree days don’t vanish. In the meantime, this promises to be fairly decent weather for Mom’s Day. Not too hot, not overly chilly. And best of all, no rain. So enjoy the day and look forward to an interesting week coming.

Wow – the powers that be have upped the number of 80 degree days for the coming week to 5 now. Four for sure. Seriously.  A couple of them in the upper 80s. Are we ready for that? Seems a tad strange that we go zipping from snow to near 90, but hey…that’s the way things are unfolding. Not a drop of rain in sight and hot temperatures. I can already see a lot of folks flipping on the A/C  but I know I won’t be one of them. Waited for about ever for hot temps and I have no plans to block and of it from wafting through my place with windows wide open and happiness in my heart.

Okay, so today is a damp one but hey…up ahead is nothing but dry weather coming our way. Not seeing any more rain for at least a week. And this weekend should be not only dry but sunny. Can we ask for anything more or better? I don’t think so. Look for some 80 degree days next week and I don’t know about you but I am SO ready for 80 degrees. Windows open, warmth wandering in from outdoors…I am so excited with just the thought of it heading our way. About time, too.

Tonight and maybe tomorrow could bring us some rain but on the whole, we are finally – as of now -looking at a dry week ahead. Can you imagine it? Enough dry days to allow some leaf blowing? Some yard cleanup that’s been too soggy so far to permit? Could be happening. Toss in a couple of 80 degree days? Wow…what a week ahead. We shall see but so far it’s looking good.
