Chilly out there this morning without a whole lot of wind. However, looking up into the sky, those clouds are literally flying by. So somewhere up there is one heck of a strong wind blowing. Mighty happy it’s not down here with us. Staying chilly tomorrow but looking ahead, this is a warm week coming up. There is even a possibility of seeing a 90 degree day, maybe even two, toward the end of the week.  So summer temperatures aren’t quite ready to let go yet. Me? I’m happy about that. Not everyone is, I know, looking forward to cooler fall numbers. They’ll on the way, we know that, but not next week, that’s for certain.

Very comfortable today but that pesky cold front is going to trip on through dropping us down into the 60 degree range until the beginning of next week. A chilly weekend will be on the menu for our area for sure. Take heart, those of you like me who like the warm temperatures, next week we’ll see more 80s again. It’s fall in Michigan and those up and down number are the run of the mill. Those cold fronts will insist on traveling through like it or not. This current one coming is a dandy but it will be here and gone by next Monday. Just keep a jacket on hand for the next several days.

Look for comfortable temperatures today and tomorrow but then the bottom falls out.  Watch for rain on Friday. Then cold front coming through is going to drop our temperatures, at least for a little while, about 10-20 degrees below normal. A downright nippy weekend coming our way. A taste of fall and warm jackets to remind us of what direction we’re heading in to.

Should be a bit cool today but Wednesday and especially Thursday will be warmer and pleasant. The bottom falls out on Friday when rain and a cold front come through leaving us downright cold through the weekend. Lots of places in this country like the SW, still dealing with sweltering heat, would appreciate that sort of weather . Alas…it’s not going to visit them, it’s going to insist on being here. Just line up some warm jackets for the duration. By next Tuesday, if all goes well, we should be back in the 70 degree range. Sure looking forward to that.

Not bad Labor Day weekend weather for us this year. We’re going to experience a nice warm up early this week followed by rain coming in Friday and Saturday. This is brought to us courtesy of the next cold front. A dandy that will drop next weekend’s temperatures into the 60s. Next Sunday won’t be nearly as comfortable as yesterday was. A taste of fall for sure heading our way.

What a splendid beginning to the month of September. Could not ask for better. The entire coming week looks fine with the chance of some rain coming on Friday. Looking ahead with rain on Friday, perhaps on Saturday, the temperature for next Sunday will be a chilly 66. Lots of things can change by then, but that’s the picture we can see from here. Not at all sure I’m ready for days with a high in the 60s. Alas…..

A second cold front moving on through is leaving us with a very comfortable week heading our way. Mostly days in the 70s and as of right now, no rain. AC off and windows open at night? Sure sounds terrific to me.  Hard to believe we’re in the last day of August already. September is a fall month and I’m already seeing a lot of dead brown leaves on the ground. Heading in the wrong direction for my tastes but not much I can do about it but gear up and get ready.

Nice rain this morning, possible a bit more today. This rain is bringing down our temperatures to what is going to feel quite comfortable this coming week. Right now the weather for Labor Day is looking to be about perfect so if you have an outdoor activity in mind, should be just fine for whatever it is. The last ‘official’ outdoor activity for the summer couldn’t ask for better. Lucky us.

Not a bad day today, perhaps some rain today and tomorrow, but following all that sounds terrific. Starting Saturday and onward, not much showing up but sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Next week should definitely be a winner. Augurst will go out and September come in very pleasant.

The severe heat we were enduring yesterday has broken, with the help of quite a storm. Plenty of folk still without power today. Nothing bad here but I guess I lucked out.  Still and all, it’s still plenty humid. Never fear ’cause a cold front will be sweeping down over us by this weekend and we’ll reap the benefits by next week. Comfortable 70 degree days are on the way. Hold on, relief is on the way.
