Partly cloudy with a low in the upper 20s. NE winds 5-10 becoming E with gusts to 20 overnight.

This week continues to be pleasant and enjoyable. No change yet in the fact that this weekend will end it for a while. Saturday should remain on the warm side but not so sunny. And Sunday will drop down with rain or rain/snow and will drag the numbers down for the following week. Not much we can do about it but wait it out ’cause the nice warm stuff will return eventually.

Monday, March 10, 2025-SW Michigan-Heading In To A Warm Week

Monday, March 10, 2025-SW Michigan-Heading In To A Warm Week

Currently 43 with an average wind from the SSE of 4 mph. Feels like 43 degrees. Dew Point 37, Barometer 29.79, Humidity 67%, Visibility 9.9 mi. Sunrise 8:03 am, Sunset 7:42 pm.

What a lovely week we have in store. Right on up to the weekend. Saturday will be cooler and likely bring rain but Sunday is probably going to be a chilly one. One site offers the idea that we could see a snow flake or two. I’m hoping that’s well off the mark. The only thing we know is this weekend will break this lovely spell and next week won’t be the experience we’ll have over the next 4 or 5 days. Enjoy.

This is a terrific week of weather coming for us – right up to the next weekend, where it will take another dive. Figures, huh? But in the meantime we will have climbing temperatures – could even see 70 by Friday – with plenty of sunshine. Can’t complain about that.

Saturday, March 8, 2025-SW Michigan-Next Week Will Heat Up

Saturday, March 8, 2025-SW Michigan-Next Week Will Heat Up

Currently 25 with an average wind from the NW of 7 mph. Feels like 25 degrees.  Dew Point 15, Barometer 30.01, Humidity 62%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:07 am, Sunset 6:40 pm.

Sunny to partly sunny today with a high in the upper 30s. NW winds 5-10 becoming SW 10-15 with gusts to 25.

Partly cloudy with a low in the upper 20s. W winds 5-15 mph with gusts to 25.

Next week will warm up to what could be a 70 degree day on Friday. After that it’s all downhill for a while again. Probably will see days in the 30s…which will seem painful after a really pleasant week. I’m thinkig a 70 degree day dive bombing into a 30 degree day will likely bring us some storms. It’s the way it usually goes. I reckon we’ll see, just be watchful around next Friday and Saturday.

Friday, March 7, 2025-SW Michigan-Temperatures Will Rise

Friday, March 7, 2025-SW Michigan-Temperatures Will Rise

Currently 32 with an average wind from the NE of 3 mph. Feels like 32 degrees. Dew Point 27, Barometer 29.87, Humidity 80%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:08 am, Sunset 6:39 pm.

Partly cloudy with a low around 20 overnight. NW winds 5-10 mph becoming N with gust to 20.

Watch for a bit of sun to visit us over the next 3 or 4 days. And our temperatures will gradually rise at the same time. We’re more than ready for this. I can’t say we’re totally finished with a 30 degree day now and then but they are becoming fewer as we go along in the month of March.

Thursday, March 6, 2025-SW Michigan-Snow And Cold Still With Us

Thursday, March 6, 2025-SW Michigan-Snow And Cold Still With Us

Currently 27 with an average wind from the WSW of 6 mph. Feels like 18 degrees. Dew Point 23, Barometer 29.7, Humidity 84%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:10 am, Sunset 6:57 pm.

Mostly cloudy until midday then becoming partly cloudy. High in the mid 30s. NW winds 15-20 with gusts to 40.

Partly cloudy with a 40% chance of evening snow showers. Low in the upper 20s. W winds 5-15 mph with gusts to 25.

Seems as if we’re not quite finished with winter just yet – or snow. Could get a bit more of it tonight, tomorrow. Never fear, our temperatures are set to begin rising on Sunday and next week is looking good. We aren’t finished with the 30 degrees yet either…likely week after next we could see another cold spell. The thing is these cold spots are hopefully getting farther apart with warmer days filling in between them.  Not a particularly comfortable weekend yet, but they’re coming along.

Wednesday, March 5, 2025-SW Michigan-Winter Storm Lola

Wednesday, March 5, 2025-SW Michigan-Winter Storm Lola

Currently 48 with an average wind from the SSE of 8 mph. Feels like 46 degrees. Dew Point 49, Barometer 29.04, Humidity 94%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:10 am, Sunset 6:37 pm.

Windy with a 70% chance of rain possibly mixed with snow, becoming snow showers. Low in he mid 20s. NW winds 15-25 with gusts to around 45 mph.

Rain today but Winter Storm Lola will brush by us probably bringing us some snow overnight…and wind. Won’t last and won’t be appreciated but it’s likely to happen tonight. This is going to drop us down into the 40 degree range for a while but beginning next week we’ll warm back up again. Mother Nature just couldn’t resist toss one last (hopefully) winter storm to march across the country.  Look forward and thing spring warmth…we’ll be there before you know it.

Tuesday, March 4, 2025-SW Michigan-Couple Of Rainy Days

Tuesday, March 4, 2025-SW Michigan-Couple Of Rainy Days

Currently 39 with an average wind from the SE of 2 mph. Feels like 36 degrees. Dew Point 39, Barometer 29.75, Humidity 100%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:13 am, Sunset 6:35 pm

90% chance of rain. High in the upper 40s. S winds 5-10 mph with gusts to 20.

100% chance of overnight rain. Low in the lower 40s. SE winds 5-15 mph with gusts to 30.

Temperatures will be on the comfortable side today and tomorrow, but with rain. That will end on Thursday however the temperature will be decidedly cooler again. Could see a brief peek of the sun on Thursday and I guess if that happens we need to rejoice in it ’cause it sure doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen often in the near future. In fact we might even see a flake or two of snow on Friday. Seems to be our pattern now – up and down temperatures, rain, snow, seldom but welcome sunshine. We’ll get it all as we head into spring, hoping it will all end up in glorious green, sunny days before too long.

Monday, March 3, 2025-SW Michigan-Not Done With Wintry Weather Just Yet

Monday, March 3, 2025-SW Michigan-Not Done With Wintry Weather Just Yet

Currently 32 with an average wind from the SE of 3 mph. Feels like 32 degrees. Dew Point 21, Barometer 30.07, Humidity 66 %, Visibility 9 mi., Sunrise 7:15 am, Sunset 6:34 pm.

70% chance of overnight rain. Low in the mid30s. S winds 5-10 mph with gusts to 20.

Not bad temperatures for a few days but watch for those numbers to dip again about Thursday through Saturday. And we’ll be seeing a bit of snow now and then. There is yet another Winter Storm moving through across the country this week. Winter Storm Lola. Not sure about what we’ll get from this one but I know we’ll be getting rain mid week and likely at least some snow. Warm ups so far seem to be fleeting but I’m confident that eventually they will lengthen. Personally, I can’t wait. Guess I’ll have to but not with good over abundant happiness about it.

Sunday, March 2, 2025-SW Michigan-Hanging On To February Chill

Sunday, March 2, 2025-SW Michigan-Hanging On To February Chill

Currently 25 with an average wind from the WNW of 5 mph. Feels like 18 degrees. Dew Point 14, Barometer 30.21, Humidity 63%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:17 am, Sunset 6:32 pm.

Cloudy becoming mostly sunny. Scattered snow flurries off and on. High around 30. W winds 5-10 mph.

Partly cloudy. Low around 20. Light winds.

Not warming up yet but by next Wednesday we might see 50 degrees. We’ll see some rain for the beginning of the week but a warm up coming is enough to make that unimportant. We will, of course, see a fluctuation of temperatures but peering into the future I’m seeing some 50 even a 60 degree day coming up fairly soon. Going to seem heavenly.
