Just overnight, almost, the week’s forecast has changed. There’s a huge high-pressure dome bringing hot weather to a lot of the country this coming handful of days. We’re going to be in this one. We could see a high of about 90 on Thursday.
Interesting watching what will remain of Hurricane Hillary bringing a tropical storm in to California. not exactly the state where we are used to witnessing something like that. I’m afraid there will be multiple problems developing from that. Fires in Hawaii, potential flooding in California, oppressive heat in the middle of the country. If nothing else, the states present a variety of weather events, good and bad, over the course of a couple of weeks. Our area is blessed to be sort of left out of the extremes, even if we occasionally dip into one part or the other of it all. About all we can do is prepare for whatever comes along and pray for those caught up in what happens in their vicinity.
