Looking at a delightful summer week coming our way. Temperatures in the low 80s and no precipitation in sight until, as of now, around Friday. Plenty of sunshine and warmth. Can’t hardly ask for a better ending for July and beginning of August. Warm days with nights being kind enough to cool down enough to welcome open windows – if you’re the sort who loves fresh air. I am.
Again, we are so fortunate not to be baking in the excessive heat still smothering the south. They really are suffering and there doesn’t seem to be any relief in sight for them. Give thanks and enjoy what we have. They have bragging rights when our miserable winter weather sets in, but it’s sort of our turn right now. However, this year, nobody feels like bragging as the heat is SO intense all we can do is offer our sympathy and prayers for everyone to stay safe.
