The sky has a rather washed-out appearance this morning. I suspect it’s a bit of the Canadian fire smoke wafting our way. It’s pretty heavy right now in Wisconsin and Minnesota. With the wind blowing from that direction, it’s probably only a matter of time before our air is once again in the unhealthy zone. And the heat dome that’s been holding firm over the south has enlarged enough to now include more of the northern states, so this is going to be one hot week coming up. Nothing in the 100s like the south but wouldn’t be surprising to see several 90-degree days for us. Some sites show a chance for rain cropping up now and again through the week, but then again some don’t. I guess at this point it’s a toss up. The heat we can count on. The rain, not so much.
