Sunny today with a high in the upper 70s. SW winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 25.
Mostly clear overnight. Low in the lower 50s. S winds 5-10 mph.
There is a Red Flag Warning in effect today due to high winds, low humidity and warm temperatures. Folks need to be cautious about anything that could contribute to fires.
Today and tomorrow will be lovely days to be outside in the springtime air. Unfortunately, the storms this weekend – although Saturday will still remain in the warm temperature range – will usher in much cooler weather with the added threat of that dread S word we all thought was finally behind us. There does seem to be a chance for a frozen mix or snow threat Monday and Monday night. Impossible to imagine but there it is. Things will gradually improve thereafter but we have to get through that unpleasantness to get back to spring it would seem. In the meantime, we have today and tomorrow to enjoy and relish.
