Except for what looks to be a solid chance of rain coming our way on Tuesday, not a bad week on the way. 50-60 degree days. Don’t expect anything in the 70, but the week after? Seems to be on the way. All looking better all the time.

Lovely mostly 60 degree days coming at us this week. And I don’t see any nights arriving where I have to turn on my heated bird bath. Nice to give it a rest now. Plus – it looks as if they’ve taken the rain out of Sunday. That’s terrific. Beginning to see tiny green leaves forming and when I see a clump of blooming Daffodils, my spirits take a huge leap. Could Spring finally be joining us? Let’s say yes.

Maybe no massive warm up but warmer than lately. Should see a lot of 60 degree days coming up. We’ll take that. I’d just like to be able to turn off my overnight heated bird bath. That alone would be a step forward. Right now it looks like a rainy weekend coming up, but rain. Not snow. At this point even that much brings joy. Anyway, lots of blue sky showing up this morning. Might be cool, but it’s bright and cheery. Good enough.

Hard to imagine I’m still turning on my heated birdbath overnight. If I don’t, there’s ice in it. Hopefully…and I keep saying that…this will be the last of the uncomfortable cold temperatures. Goodness knows we’ve seen enough of them. It’s almost the month of May. Look for a bit of a warm up. Not anything massive, but at least more comfortable than what we’ve been having to cope with.

I’m suggesting we all take up a collection and send Mother Nature back to class so she can relearn what the Spring season is all about. Obviously she has forgotten. I’d rather think that than she’s simply being mean with this one. If I hear one more forecast with the word snow in it I shall likely scream. Nobody will hear me or care, but I’ll do it anyway. So…I’m going to be driving off to do errands this morning looking at the likelihood of little snowflakes in the air. Swell.

Don’t be looking for any 70 degree days in the week ahead but we should see plenty of days in the 60s. I guess that’s good. As good as it’s going to get anyway. Tomorrow morning we could tie a record that goes back to the 1920 with a low of around 27 degrees. And we’re heading into May. Can you even imagine any of this???

Not much to say about today besides the fact that it isn’t as warm as Saturday was and it won’t be as chilly as tomorrow’s going to be. Tomorrow is a lost cause. Another 40 degree day that has no place in the month of April. And yet, there it will be. One site has rain…and dare I say it – a chance of a frozen mix? We’re going to totally ignore that one. One has some rain tomorrow. One has just clouds. Let’s go with the nothing but clouds, shall we? At any rate, today will merely be a slide down into whatever tomorrow brings. The only thing we know is it won’t be warm and sunny.

No denying that yesterday was fantastic. 80 degrees, sunshine, a little breeze blowing. The stuff summer dreams are made of. It’s going to be awhile before we see that again. Temperatures are set to dip again probably into the 40s for Tuesday and then only rebound into the 50s for the rest of the week. What the heck is going on???

What a glorious day! Sunshine, warmth, light winds. Can’t improve much on this one. Look for some rain moving in tonight and through tomorrow with a drop of almost 20 degrees. But hey…we’ll take it. Today is worth it. You might see the temperature drop back down into the 40s for a few days next week, but never fear. Doesn’t look like anything in the 30s and no snow showing up. This year, that’s about as good as  a coming week can promise us. Just enjoy the heck out of today.

Would be lovely to have a thunderstorm tonight. Nothing like lightning and thunder while you’re tucked cozy in bed. Or, at least, for me. So I’m anxious to see it develop. Tomorrow is going to be terrific. 80 degrees. I think we’re all pretty excited about that. Sunday won’t be as warm, but still not bad. Rainy though. I guess we’ll be paying for Saturday. Fair enough.

So…we’re all getting eager to see an 80 degree day on Saturday. Pretty telling about how our so-called spring has gone, isn’t it? We’re all ready to throw a party because the temperature will be kind to us for a change. Sunday, maybe not quite so warm and with rain. The following week promises, as of now, to be a good 30 degrees cooler, but hey…if we’re lucky we won’t see anymore snow, right?
