Currently 50 with an average wind from the SSW of 13 with gusts to 22. Feels like 50 degrees. Dew Point 40, Barometer 29.89, Humidity 68%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:01 am, Sunset 6:43 pm.
Partly sunny until about midday becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. High in the upper 50s. SSW winds 15-25 mph with gusts to 40.
Mostly clear overnight. Low in the lower 30s. W winds 5 -10 mph with gusts to 20.
So, we not only didn’t get any thunder last night, if we got rain, it was negligible. What we did get was some fierce winds that evidently blew the rain clouds right on out of our picture. As of now, in spite of the fact that out in the Denver area where they’re expecting a couple of feet of snow, and the East Coast where it looks to be some whopper of a storm weather is building, I don’t see much in the line of precipitation for our area for days. And then only a slight chance of some frozen mix about next Monday. Of course, we know perfectly well how fast things can change but for now it looks dry and breezy around here. I guess we’ll see how it goes but for the time beingĀ nice temperatures and strong winds are taking care of a lot of the mountains of snow we’ve build up along the edges.
