Thursday, June 11, 2020-SW Michigan-Much Cooler Today
Currently 65 with an average wind from the SW of 6 mph. Feels like 65 degrees. Dew Point 48, Barometer 30.03, Humidity 55%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 6:02 am, Sunset 9:22 pm.
Sunny with a 20% chance of showers. High in the mid 70s. W winds 15 -20 mph with gusts to 30.
Mostly clear overnight with a 20% chance of evening showers. Low in the lower 50s. SW winds 5 – 15 mph becoming W 5 -10 mph.
No damage in my immediate area, but plenty of wind damage here and there in SW Michigan as a strong system blew through taking away about 20 degrees from our daytime temperatures. Rain, a little thunder/lightening…but mostly wind. Feels almost cool enough for a sweater this morning. It really isn’t but SO much chillier than yesterday. Looks like it won’t be back approaching the 80 degree mark again until around next Wednesday or so. A handful of 60 degrees, some 70s and then we’ll be back where we belong.
