Okay, so Mother Nature took a good look around and was surprised to see she’d given us a couple of days of sunshine in a row. In February. “Well, can’t have that, can we?” No, of course we can’t. So peering ahead I now see, sprinkled in here and there, nasty words like Freezing Drizzle and Frozen Mix. So, are we surprised? No, can’t say that we are. Appreciative of what we get that’s good, resigned to the bad we almost have to expect. Are we happy? No. Snow is one thing. And we here in Michigan can pretty much handle that, but the freezing drizzle, ice, sleet punishment we, none of us, handle well. Skill is one thing, luck another. And skill is rarely the deciding factor in getting through a day of freezing drizzle. We’ll see how it goes. The weather can, as we’ve seen time and time again, change rapidly.
