Quite like a Monsoon last night. A torrential rain that knocked down plenty more colored leaves. Had a hair short of 1 1/2″ of rain overnight in my outdoor gauge. Only blessing in those out driving in it last night was the fact that it wasn’t ice or snow. Wasn’t fun to be out in, at any rate. Which is without doubt on the way. In fact, this coming Wednesday is the first mention of Freezing Rain in our forecasts, never a good thought, always dangerous. I’m hoping this doesn’t come about. Freezing Rain is something we can all do without.
