My first Spring Robin of 2019 in my tiny backyard yesterday. The little slacker sure took his time. Everyone else around here has seen them for the past week. Oh well…he’s back and that’s all that counts. I’ve hung the nesting material basket out and I’m tossing raisins out with the bird seed. Can’t give ’em worms, but I can furnish what I do know they’ll eat. Raisins. At any rate, a sure sign of Spring when the Robins return. And I find it amazing, as I do every year, that they seem to come back en mass. None and then they’re all over the place. Welcome back, birds.
