There is an Excessive Heat Warning in effect through Sunday and a Bad Air Alert for those with breathing problems. This is the climate my friend in Louisiana complains about every summer. Ah ha! Now I understand. Went out to feed the birds and refresh the ground bird bath and it’s already feeling like being wrapped in a hot, wet blanket the minute you step out of the door. I’m now on my way to do the shopping I have to do for tomorrow’s family gathering. I would say before it gets hot, but too late. All I can say is before it gets any hotter.
