Clouds are, indeed, moving in and the remnants of Alberto are set to dump some possibly heavy rain on our area. Considering what’s been going on with the flooding and destruction elsewhere, it seems only fair that we take some sort of a turn at it. Nothing is going to occur such as the catastrophe in MD…that was horrendous and reading that it caused, in addition to heartrending loss to the people in that area, the life of a National Guardsman who was helping to rescue folks, is deeply disturbing. These brave first responders put their lives on the line every time there is an emergency and it’s heartbreaking to see any one of them lose their life in their efforts. I am so sorry for him, his family, his friends.
