So happy we aren’t getting any of the Nor’Easter – the 4th in the past month – that’s going on along the East Coast. It’s March, for crying out loud. I see the on-air meteorologists on the Weather Channel getting ecstatic about the snow, but far as I know, they’re the only ones. I realize that even here we aren’t beyond the realm of possibility for additional snow, we’ve had snow in March, even April, but enough already. It seems as if we’ve had a tremendous amount of snow this year but in actuality, we’ve had about 72″ in Grand Rapids, which is about average. Don’t know why it seems like so much more, but it does. Perhaps, and likely, because we had such a wonderful snowless month of February and so the snow fell, at least a bit of it, almost daily the rest of the winter. Whatever the reason, we feel like we’ve had more than our share and will gladly forgo any additional snowy ‘fun’.
