The fierce wind of yesterday, and still somewhat today, is ushering in winter. Not much snow for my little back yard, but as usual plenty more along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Even though I’m only about 50 – 60 miles inland, I still mange most of the time to miss a bunch of the lake effect stuff that comes in over the water. I’m thankful for that. But some snow is coming for us. And so much colder than it’s been.
That strong wind dumped enough leaves along my back door so that I had to get out there first thing this morning and bag 4 big black trash bags of leaves just to be able to open my door and find the heated ground bird bath. Man….raking leaves now. Soon shoveling snow. Pretty sure I moved into the wrong townhouse complex. I’m sure there are actual, caring landlords in other places who tend to this stuff. Good thing I’m tough.
