Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 South West Michigan – Always Watching The Sky
Currently 41 degrees with a S wind of 2.4 mph dropping that a bit to feeling like 38. Dew Point 33, Barometer 30.13, Humidity 73%, Visibility 10 mi, Sunrise 7:54 pm, Sunset 5:01 pm. Partly sunny then clearing in the afternoon. High around 50. SW winds 5 – 10 mph.
Partly cloudy with a low around 30. Light winds.
Yesterday I happened to look up just in time to see this cloud formation that looks like a space craft. Fascinating. Snapped the picture and only seconds later, the sky had changed and the ‘space craft’ had flown off and away.
Wish I could do the kid thing again, lay out on the grass and watch the clouds turn into pictures. You did that, right? “There’s a rabbit!” “I see a lion.” First of all, right now the ground is too cold to even consider doing that and secondly, my knees are going to refuse to play that game. Alas.
But in the meantime, remaining upright, I keep my eyes turned upward as often as possible to see what I might see. And am rewarded for doing so. Nature continues to provide entertainment. Yesterday a space ship. Tomorrow…who knows?
