At long last we have a decent rainfall. Measured .68″ in my rain gauge this morning. Been a long, long time since we received that much precipitation. There was ample opportunity with clear enough skies to see the gorgeous, HUGE full moon last evening. It looked as if, driving down the road heading into it,  it was resting on the planet Earth.

A fantastic sight, that Harvest Moon. Amazing.  The only thing that would have, could have, make it better was perhaps if it had been Halloween night…then everyone could easily and readily imagine Werewolves and Vampires and Ghosts and Spooks and….what finer element for fluffy up the imagination than a brilliant full moon? However, as it happened, it was enough to spark thoughts of pure beauty and wonder. Good enough!
