The color continues to blossom in my backyard. It’s fascinating to watch it grow. And what’s interesting this year is that I’m not only watching that, but my eye is on the color blooming in the Atlantic basin with the many named storms and hurricanes spreading bright shades over the color enhanced maps. An astonishing amount of brilliant red, yellow, and orange out there, as is in the trees and shrubs in my neighborhood. Lucky for us, our color will only bring something to watch, for those impacted with the color spreading around in the Atlantic Ocean, not quite so fortunate. Not only must they watch, in fact, keep a sharp eye on development, they must prepare for damage. For being hurt. The only hurting here will be to the aching back left over from raking up our color. All in all, from here to there, plenty of color to observe.
