Sunny until midday then mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of afternoon rain. High in the upper 50s. SE winds 5-15 mph increasing to 15-20 mph.

We will likely get some rain later today and tonight but it, for now, does look as if we could luck out and have some clearing skies for the eclipse. I can’t imagine not being a bit excited about this. Our area won’t get another chance to see a sight like this for another 300 years. I know I’ll have my special glasses in place and will be ready – just in case Mother Nature decides to smile on us.

Good temperature range coming for the next week of 50s, even 60s. At the end of it all we could even see 70 degrees. This seems a bit like heaven.

Chance of rain tomorrow afternoon and overnight, but for now it looks as if we may luck out and get a chance to see the Eclipse.  Nothing certain – you know how it is with Michigan and clouds and whatnot. But I’d have those glasses ready just in case. I know I will – with fingers crossed for some properly cleared skies at the proper time.

Look for some sunshine tomorrow and perhaps some on Sunday. Although Sunday does offer us the chance for some rain, too.  And Monday? The day we’re all hoping for cloudless skies and a clear views of the Eclipse? Not so sure about that. Looks like some clouds for us, but let’s hope not totally cloudy. Going to be about 300 years before we get another chance like this and I don’t know about you, but I’m fairly certain I won’t be able to hang around for it.

Okay, so no joy from the sunshine today – or tomorrow. But wait a minute…looks as if we could be blessed with some brightness Friday through Sunday. Seriously. At least for the moment that is the view we’re looking at. Should be wonderful. No rain, no snow, some sunshine? Fingers crossed.

Okay, with computer issues resolved for now, I’m back to observing the weather. Trouble is, this current weather isn’t worth too much attention. Seems as if April is marching along at the same pace as March. Slow to recognize this is spring. We seem to be looking at cool temperatures and possibilities of rain now and again in the near future. I sure do wish there was something wonderful to report. Alas….Mother Nature is not playing nice.

A pleasant day today but I’d get everything done that needs to be done outdoors today because tomorrow will likely be a wet one. East Sunday? Not entirely sure. Some clouds for certain but at this point, unclear as to whether it will rain or not. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Whatever sunshine we get today or tomorrow look to be about all we’re going to be seeing for about ever. Not much more than clouds, occasional rain, coolish temperatures in our forecast. I wish like anything that wasn’t the case, but checking every weather site I have access to, this is about the picture they all paint. I think we’re going to have to wait a bit for warmth and clear skies to be part of our world.

Not a particularly pleasant day today. Look for some sunshine Thursday and Friday, rain on Saturday and maybe just clouds on Easter Sunday. But no great rise in temperatures yet. Eventually, but no just now.

80% chance of rain today. Possible risk of tornadoes and wind damage. The wind will probably be the greater threat. High around 60.  S winds 15-20 with gusts to 40.

Mostly cloudy overnight with a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Low around 40. S winds 15-20 with gusts to 35 becoming W 5-10 with gusts to 25.

Might as well prepare for a chilly day tomorrow a this stormy system is set to bring us back down into the 30 degree range for a day or so. We’ll bounce back but it’s getting tiresome to say the least that we get a few fairly comfortable days only to have to pay for them with a dip into the heavier jacket weather. Sooner or later – we keep saying and hoping – this pattern is going to break and we’ll be in the warmer weather pattern where we should be. In the meantime, prepare for rain and wind today, cold tomorrow.
