Going to be hot today but it isn’t going to hang around all that long. Rain coming in tonight will bump it down to the 70s. We may soon see a handful of 60 degree days, too. The 80 degrees won’t be returning any time soon. Not this coming week anyway. Perhaps the week after? So, enjoy the heat today – if you’re like me – and enjoy the rain tomorrow – again like me.

Going to be a hot one today and even more so tomorrow. But don’t get too excited about that. On Wednesday we’ll get rain and our temperatures will drop back down into the 70s, perhaps one in the 60s might even show up, for the rest of the week. The Jet Stream has moved to allow hot temperatures for most, but not, as of now, particularly for us. We seem to be on the outside edge – the cooler edge. Who knows how long that will last? We’ll take our days as they come – as we have no choice in the matter, anyway.

Hopefully this morning’s cloudy sky will at least partially clear up and allow some sunshine to pour down on us today. There is a chance for some sunshine tomorrow and then rain until the end of the week. Not observing any big warm up coming our way, even though this is June. The word is we’re supposed to be hot this month, but so far I’m not seeing when that’s likely to begin. Anyway, let’s look for some sunshine today. Would be nice.

A better opportunity to enjoy sunshine will be tomorrow and as far as seen right now, the only chance for the week. It looks as if rain will be coming every day. What a soggy week ahead if nothing changes. Of course, we all know how quikly it does, but alas…as of now that’s the picture showing up.

A bright, pleasant day today but look for rain tomorrow. Should see sunshine again on Sunday, so we have a half and half weekend. Fair enough I guess. Seems as if rain will be with us for much of the days next week.

And in spite of the sunshine, for those who have been paying attention, this is a dark day for America.

Pleasant weather today and tomorrow. Probably some rain on Saturday but getting better again on Sunday. Hope you can take advantage of Sunday because the beginning of the next week looks to be rain for the most part. Seems as if June will be coming in on the wet side.

Still chilly today but some warmth may be returning starting tomorrow. Will be much more comfortable being in the 70s – and hopefully next week a handful of 80s. Our daytime temperatures yesterday and today are too low with the night time temps temping to have the heat turned back on. Not my idea of the end of May, heading into June numbers. At any rate, the weekend is still looking good. Perhaps some rain on Saturday, but that’s not for certain. At least no rain showing up for Sunday. Hurray for golfers :>)

Once we get past this crummy day we should be on schedule for three or four days offering us some sunshine. Temperatures in the 70s. Looking past the coming weekend, as of now we’re seeing that many days of rain coming. Alas…some good, some bad. At least our bad isn’t as rough as what the south and east have been dealing with. We’ll gladly take what we get instead.

What a difference a day makes, right? It’s downright chilly out there today. This won’t, thankfully, last but it’s sure not happy news for all of those out camping this weekend. Betting a whole lot of folks will be packing up and heading home earlier than they had expected. We’ll be back in the 70s this coming week and by next Sunday we will likely see 80 degrees. Much more to my liking than this 50 degree stuff last evening’s storm line brought into play.

No rain this morning but it’s inevitable that it’s going to come around later today. With all the rain forecast for the next three days it’s definitely not thrilling for those with outdoor activities scheduled. The best we can do is be thankful we’re not dealing with the weather occurring in the southern states. At least we don’t have the torrential rains, hail and the almost certain threat of tornadoes racing across the south. Rain and some wind we can deal with. Not happily perhaps, but we can do it. We can pretty much always manage to move our Memorial Day celebrations indoors…at least our indoors will stay put for us, a it stands right now anyway.

While we’re coping with the unfortunate weather, I do hope we all take some time to give thought to what this holiday really means. And give thanks to all who gave their all in order for us to be free to have our holidays in freedom.
