Thanks to the dip in the Jet Stream leaving us out of the wicked heat affecting so many other states, we will enjoy mild temperatures this week. Things look to be changing next week. We’ll be out from under the shelter of the Jet Stream as that dip moves along leaving us included in warmer weather. Probably some rain moving in Sunday through Tuesday. After that expect higher temperatures for next week. Some of those days will be in the uncomfortable zone so just get ready.

After possible rain tomorrow, look for dry weather right on through the weekend. Somewhere around Tuesday of next week we might be getting rain. Also some fairly warm temperatures coming our way next week. Could be well into the 80s most of the week. For now, the weather this Thursday through the weekend is looking pleasant and comfortable.

Could get a bit of rain later day, more of a chance Tuesday night through Wednesday. A small cold front will come through then but don’t count on it hanging on for long. Won’t be long after that when the temperatures climbing right back up to pretty warm. We’ll be well into the 80s the rest of the week after the very brief cool down.

This is a delightful Sunday morning even with a chance of showers later on, so far this is a dandy day. Look for some rain coming in perhaps Monday night, maybe Tuesday and Wednesday. Or…maybe not. At any rate, our temperatures will be going up as the week progresses. Next weekend, as of now, is looking like a hot one. We’ll see how it goes but in the meantime, hope you can enjoy this day.

This should be a nice day to be out and about. A good weekend, in fact. Take advantage of this one as the next weekend looks to be a sweltering hot one. Could change by then, but for now, it’s looking hot. In the meantime rain could be coming in or us late Tuesday and perhaps last until Thursday. Seems like comfortable temperatures this week. Summery, but comfortable.

Chilly enough this morning to make me not want to get up – or wish I could turn on the furnace from the bed so when I did force myself to get up, it would be warm. Much to my kitten’s unhappiness, I closed the bedroom window last night. Nothing I hate more than being cold. And this morning was simply too cold.

Look for sun and clouds for the next few days but rain will set in about next Tuesday and could last through Thursday.

Felt like a fall morning today. Not a fan. Don’t be looking for any drastic rises in our temperatures for a while. And no rain in sight, for now, until about next Tuesday and Wednesday. Should be a decent summer week with nights cool enough for good sleeping with windows open. Me? I like it warmer, but hey…I’m a true summer fan.

What a pleasant week coming up. No rain in sight – as of right now – until a week from today, actually. Mostly sun with some clouds floating around once in a while. No drastic heat. This is simply a lovely summer week in store for us. And yes, we all know how fast something can crop up, but looking ahead now, nothing. The Jet Stream is giving us a break as it shifted to the south, leaving us out of the sweltering southern heat. We aren’t being burdened with all the heavy rain that’s causing flooding problem in the southern tier of our nation. We are in the sweet spot this week. Enjoy it best you can would be my advise.

Had a terrific thunderstorm last night. Started with a startling loud blast that slowly rumbled off into the distance taking it’s sweet time. Then evolved into what sounded like an audible version of Christmas ribbon candy…something that folded in on itself over and over and over. Very distinctive sound, this one.  Today, no rain so far in my little backyard, but plenty of clouds and gloom. Appears we will have sunshine the rest of the week, without drastic hot temperatures. Sounds good.

Had a proper thunderstorm lat night around 2:30. Plenty of thunder, lightening, and rain.  There is the possibility of some rain and severe weather this evening/over night as the cold front comes through. This cold front will eventually drop our temperatures into the 70s by Wednesday. Should be a comfortable week later on but today will still be warm. Tomorrow not so much, but still not into the 70s yet.
