Had a lovely thunderstorm in the early hours of the morning. The sound of thunder and rain is absolutely meant to be listened to while in bed. Nothing better. Good chance of rain over the next couple of days too but then the beginning of the week leaves us in the clear. Pleasant temperatures with no precipitation. A grand week in store for us.

Appears that rain is in our forecast right on through the weekend. Look for some comfortable weather coming our way starting next Monday with sunshine and 70 degree days. We only have to stay dry through the next four days and then dry weather will help us take care of that.

Today should be glorious, sunny and summery. Not so much tomorrow or the next 3 or 4 days. Appears as if rain is in the forecast clear until next Monday. Might not be raining all day, every day, but the threat is there. Keep an eye on the sky and the umbrella handy and you’ll be fine.

This lovely weather will continue likely through tomorrow. But that’s it for a while. Rain will move in for 3 or 4 days after that with 70 degree temperatures. Hope you enjoyed the last weekend ’cause the one coming up could be a wet one. Hopefully some warmer and drier days will follow that rainy cluster. Guess we’ll see how it goes. Hard to imagine we’re in the middle of August already. And except for a few exceptions, I’m still waiting for that super hot summer we were forecast to get. Hasn’t really put in much of an appearance, has it? Hasn’t really been an uncomfortable season in my book. I would have preferred a bit more warmth, but that’s just me. Curious to see if we get the wintry forecast laid out for us. Again – a wait and see for us. Not in any hurry to find out.

Nice little warm up for the next several days but then look for about a week of rain. Or at least days with the chance for rain with temperatures back in the 70s.  We, here in lower SW Michigan, are definitely not in play with the super hot days of states to the south and west of us. Probably a good thing, but a little bit more warmth would be more fitting for the month of August. Alas…don’t see it happening for the most part.

Downright nippy again this morning. And have you noticed how short our days are getting already? I have. Not liking the direction we’re heading in to. I don’t see a lot of warm up in our near future. A couple of days into the 80s but mostly 70s coming our way. This doesn’t feel like August. Certainly more like September weather. Makes you wonder what’s in store for us this winter. I’ve heard cold and snowy but I’d rather ignore that for the time being. And wish for warmer days to show up again. Summer seems short enough as it is. This time around it appears to being abbreviated even more.

This definitely does not feel like August. And personally, I’m tired of it. Not going to warm up any great amount in the coming week. Might see a low 80 or two but mostly 70s continue. As of right now, next weekend is looking like a rainy one, so chilly or not, best get out and enjoy this one. At least it’s dry.

This is great summer weather. Not too hot, not rainy, not windy…this seems about ideal. I guess we need to be enjoying it. I’ve just read a long-range forecast for our area that indicates cooler and wetter than usual. In other words, looking for now as if we’re going to have  a cold, snowy winter. Most definitely not my idea of good weather. Since I don’t seem to have much of a say in how it goes, the only thing I can suggest is to enjoy the now and prepare for then.

Nothing drastic or harsh in our forecasts. Mostly sunny skies with temperatures slowly getting back up into the lower 80s over the next week. Bland and boring. Or luckily calm. Any way you look at it, it’s better than the flooding mess left to the south and east from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debby.
