Last night was the coldest of our cold nights lately. That should be the end of it. Not that we’re going to be zooming into anything balmy, but it won’t be as brutal as it’s been. Next week we’re looking at that messy wintry mix stuff that’s never good – or safe. The best part is that some of this snow should be melting away. We’re lucky that Winter Storm Indigo gave us a pass. What we have been – and continue to be – dealing with is the lake effect snow. And even at that we’re, in my area, much luckier than so many others who get slammed by the lake effect stuff. We continue, as miserable as it’s been here lately, to be in a sort of cushioned spot with the worst of the weather going to the north, south, east and west of us. May it continue to be so.
