I don’t know about you, but I got precious little of the predicted rain yesterday. That big swirling storm of rain managed to swing on down to the south as it circled around, and for many of us, left far too little of the much-needed precipitation behind. There is a very small chance tonight and a bit better tomorrow, but again, the numbers aren’t great. After that? Nothing. In fact, the heat comes roaring back next week with a vengeance. I’m afraid that at the rate it’s going, unless there is a huge change in the weather pattern, we could well be in a serious drought condition this summer. Of course, those changes can happen and, in this case, I hope they do. We are falling far short of needed rain already.
