Tuesday, May 14, 2024-SW Michigan-Look For Some Rain Today
Currently 57 with an average wind from the E of 6 mph. Feels like 57 degrees. Dew Point 49, Barometer 29.84, Humidity 84%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 6:19 am, Sunset 8:58 pm.
Mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of rain showers. High in the mid 60s. E winds 10-15 mph.
Partly cloudy with an overnight temperature in the upper 40s. NE winds 10-15 mph.
Perhaps some rain today but look for sunshine tomorrow, maybe Friday. Also, we may only be in the 60s today but thankfully we’ll be back in to the 70s starting tomorrow. Warmer is nicer. The rain word starts to appear back in the forecast by Saturday and seems determined to linger around most of the coming week. Not necessarily a huge percent each day, but the chance for some seems to be there.
Hard to believe but the smoke situation from Canadian wildfires has risen its ugly head already this year. It’s been reported that there are already over 100 wildfires burning in Canada – many of them ‘out of control’. This is a bad thought for air quality for many of our states. I personally have to wonder what it is about Canada that it seems to be a country on fire with what seems to be a total lack of organization in control. What ever, it portends bad air for us before the season even gets going. Learning to live with this doesn’t seem like the best idea but obviously one that needs to be paid attention to.
