Sunny with a high in the lower 70s. W winds 10-15 mph with gusts to around 25.
Partly cloudy in the evening then cloudy with a 40% chance of rain. There could be a slight chance for a thunderstorm. Low in the upper 40s. NE winds 5-15 mph with gusts to around 25.
No damage in my area at all but a sad reminder yesterday that Michigan isn’t immune to the dangers of a tornado. The Portage area was hit hard. Lucky no deaths, something everyone can be grateful for. Tornado damage isn’t as usual in Michigan as it is in the south, but it can and has happened. Pays to pay attention to storm warnings.
No rain today, but rain tomorrow. In fact for the rest of the week the every other day for rain is the rule. Then once we get past Sunday – which for now looks dry – we’ll be looking at rain every single day. Not a happy thought, but it is what it is. At least for now. Just be prepared.
