Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022-SW Michigan-Plenty Of Sunshine Today
Currently 62 with a calm average wind from the SSW. Feels like 62 degrees. Dew Point 63, Barometer 29.98, Humidity 83%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 6:51 am, Sunset 8:40 pm.
Sunny today with a high around 82. Light winds becoming W 5-10 mph in the afternoon.
Mostly clear overnight with a low in the upper 50s. Light winds. (A good night to be out there watching the sky. Could be more colorful than usual)
Enjoy today and tomorrow ’cause the rain for the weekend persists in hanging in there. Lots of sunshine today and tomorrow. Not so much Saturday through Monday. Darn. For those who can, do get out and enjoy the outdoors if you can. I know, however, there are far too many people who count on the weekend for doing anything outside and they will be disappointed this time around. Why does it always seem to rain on Sundays? Still not much to complain about. At least we aren’t involved in the nearing record days of a heat wave parts of the west coast is dealing with. Miserable heat in the upper west with not much relief in sight for them. Fairly certain they’d give about anything for a cooler, rainy weekend in that direction. Then again, the lower SW part out west is dealing with flooding that we’re fortunate not to have to face. What isn’t facing floods is facing severe drought. All in all, SW Michigan seems to be a relatively pleasant place where the weather is concerned.
