As is the wont when it comes to rainfall, going off to the north of south of us, this latest batch slid to the south. Doesn’t look as if we’ll have another opportunity for precipitation until around next Monday night. Fingers crossed. We do need some moisture before everything turns brown and crisp again. This weekend will be more than comfortable. A great couple of days to be out and about.

We could get a bit of rain this afternoon. Doubt it will last long even if it does arrive.  The weekend looks splendid with comfortable temperatures and plenty of sunshine. As of now, it appears our next chance for rain will come on Monday. How clever of Mother Nature, holding off the precipitation long enough to leave us a wonderful summer weekend. If you get the chance to get out and about, this would be a great weekend for it.

Although the forecast is for mostly sunny today, unless my eyes deceive me, all I’m seeing out there this morning is mostly cloudy. Hopefully there are plans in the works up there to clear everything out and give us plenty of sunshine at some point today. Hope so. As a system is set to slide past us to the south, it gives us a very small chance of some rain tomorrow morning. We’ll be on the very outside edge of it all. Would be good to get a little more rain, but the chance isn’t great. It will, however, be cooler tomorrow – some sight say upper 70s, some lower 80s, but cooler. Looking like a good weekend. Not too hot with lots of sunshine.

Nothing very exciting out there this morning. Clouds. That’s about it. This is a very small chance of some rain this morning and perhaps on Friday. Other than that, the opportunity for any quantity of rain doesn’t seem to be in the picture this coming week. Temperatures will hover in the 80s. As of now, nothing spectacular as far as precipitation or temperature extremes. Just a summery week, looks like. Some sun, some clouds, warm.

Did get some rain last night and I didn’t really notice it until one of the loudest of the firework boomers sort of kept rumbling on – and on. After hours of near and far fireworks noises it seemed that Mother Nature was able to put them all to shame. Today is a muggy one and won’t get any better so it would be nice to just go ahead and get some more rain. Right now, doesn’t appear to be a great opportunity for that, but the chance is out there. Along with a possibility of rain tomorrow and on into Thursday morning. Along with a bit cooler temperature.

An upper-level disturbance will continue to travel across the northern part of the states, and we can expect it to bring us the chance for some thunderstorms tonight and on into tomorrow morning. Some local rain can be heavy. So, Mother Nature could be providing fireworks of her own tonight. Looks as if some rain might be possible again toward the end of the week, but not such a strong possibility as tonight. Going to be a hot one today and this storm system isn’t really going to drop us down drastically, but it will be some cooler tomorrow than today.

Today will be spectacular. Tomorrow sounds a tad iffy. Hot for sure but there is a small chance of some rain moving in later on. For sure by Tuesday the rain will be with us. Perhaps again, although as of now the opportunity is small, on Thursday. At any rate, we do seem to be in store for at least a little precipitation this coming week.

I’m still concerned about fireworks around this area as it is still quite dry in spite of getting a small amount of rain recently. Not nearly enough to saturate things as armor against active sparks. Fingers are crossed for all to be well in that area. And it has been amazing that we continue to get good weather for our holiday weekends. This doesn’t always happen here, but this time around it seems to be working.  Absolutely no complaint about that in spite of needing some rain. People have been able to be out and about and enjoying the great outdoors to their heart’s content.

Today and tomorrow look splendid, but it appears as if the opportunity for some rain has moved in for Monday through Wednesday.  Monday should be a hot one, but there is the chance for rain, so I suspect if that all unfolds, it’s going to be a muggy one. We’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, get out there and enjoy today and tomorrow. Both should be winners.

Doesn’t appear as if my area is going to be getting any more rain real soon. Not before the July 4 sparks start flying all over the place. I was sure hoping for some help from Mother Nature. Alas… It does look like pretty good weather for a holiday weekend on the whole.

It does look as if there’s a small chance for some rain on the 4th. Big deal. Not exactly the day people would appreciate it if we did get any.  Anyway, Monday through Wednesday next week offers a chance for some rain. Nothing definite and nothing heavy but the opportunity for precipitation is there.
