This is the earliest I’ve gotten up in …well, years. Laying there listening to that fierce wind howling up in the tree tops was more than I could take. Got up to shower and fix breakfast. I want hot coffee, some tea handy and my day off to a somewhat normal manner if this power goes out. And if it doesn’t it will be a small miracle. I’ve heard wind blowing before but this one was frightening. From time to time it seemed to dip down to ground level which made it even worse. My wind chimes, hanging out in the back, may or may not make it through this wind event.
Our temperatures hovering in comfort zones of 50 and 60 degrees are done and gone after today. This system will wipe it away very fast as this day progresses. Still looking like a Green Christmas this year, folks.
