As always seems to happen, there seemed to be a thin part of yesterday’s storm system as it races up from the south to the north of us. And we were once again in that less harsh part of it. Not complaining, just explaining. Here I measured only .55″ of rain. Had a very strong wind for a brief while, but it died down and except for thunder and lightening, nothing of note here. I’m sure, looking at the size of that storm and the fact that hazardous storm warnings had been posted, others did not fare so well, but that’s the story from here.
Several days of rain are coming to us still. Sunday, through what I can see of next week, sounds to be clear and comfortable. Maybe a good time to get things done before the clear and comfortable become a thing of the past? Does not make me happy hearing about the snowfall already in the West. I know it’s coming to us eventually – but never ready nor thrilled when that happens. Won’t be long before I start dreaming about how nice it was to be able to open the door and walk out without a coat, hat, glove, boots…yuck!
