One winter storm right after another insists on hammering the country. Bad enough here, where we’re used to the stuff, but the south is suffering terribly. The horrendous ice has created power loses for so many people who are cold and trying to figure out how to keep warm. Been deaths already with people trying the wrong thing and dying as a result. This is a dangerous winter system and it doesn’t plan to go away for a bit more. Winter Storm Uri followed by Winter Storm Viola – winter is invading the south like they haven’t seen in a long, long time. Ice followed by snow. Even been at least one deadly tornado spun out from these systems ending in death and damage in N. Carolina. A dreadful spate of weather that we all have to get past as safely as possible. Like I said, up here in the north, not so bad, but to the south? Man…this is bad. Very bad.
