Monday, Sept. 13, 2021-SW Michigan-Still Wondering About Yesterday’s Weird Storm
Currently 62 with an average wind from the E of 5 mph. Feels like 62 degrees. Dew Point 60, Barometer 30.1, Humidity 93%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:21 am, Sunset 7:57 pm.
Cloudy with a 30% chance of an isolated thunderstorm popping up. High 71 degrees. E wind 5 -10 mph.
Cloudy with that same 30% chance of overnight isolated thunderstorms. Low 63. ESE winds 5 – 10 mph.
Maybe some rain today, tomorrow sounds like a better chance with higher temperatures. After that, it looks as if sunny days will be back with us for the week.
Still seeking answers regarding that storm that hit SW Michigan about 5:00 yesterday afternoon. That bizarre sound, like continuous, never-ending rolling thunder way, way up high…like a separate storm was raging very high overhead. We did get some rain – I measured .55″ in my gauge this morning – and the occasional crash of regular sounding thunder during that storm, but that noise. That eerie sound that never stopped for a second until it finally seemed to roll off to the north and east. Never heard anything like that before in my life.
