Okay, so it’s the 1st of April, but when you step outside this morning you’re going to question that. Be sure to wear a warm jacket today – and probably tomorrow – but after that a warm up helps us think we’re really in the month of April. Dangerous to growing things cold is going to cover way too much of our nation tonight. Hard frost isn’t a good thing to hear when so many folks have flats and flats of beautiful growing flowers out on display. I’m sure there will be some serious hustling as covers of various sorts are hauled out and used to try and protect the tender growth. Unfortunately this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke – well, maybe on the part of Mother Nature who can be more than a tad inappropriate and unappreciated from time to time. This is one of those times.
