Got more snow last night than rain. In fact, at one point I got up in the night and looked out the window to find a fairy tale world. Everything vanilla frosted and beautiful. I thought, for a moment, of going out to try and catch a few pictures, but was too lazy. Too intent on getting back to sleep. Thought perhaps I’d be able to get a few shots first thing in the moment, but alas…the wind and rising temperatures erased the possibility and it was all gone by the time I got up and got my day in gear. Nothing but slush remaining. And now the cold is going to descend on us tonight and by Thursday the high will probably only be about 19 degrees. I fear all of this slush and mess will end up a frozen mess to try and travel through by foot or behind a wheel. Perhaps the roads will be okay but I fear the yards, driveways and sidewalks probably won’t be. Guess we’ll find out.
