No matter what our weather, what we face today, all Americans must, absolutely must, stop and remember all of the lives lost in the cowardly terrorist attack on 9/11. For every life lost – and there were immediately 3,000 of them – many more lives were impacted by that lose. So much sorrow, so many tears. Grief that remains to this day. Not only did we lose lives, and a big part of the New York skyline, we lost the innocence we were wrapped in that allowed us to believe we were safe in our nation from the brainless, heartless actions of terrorists. And we must never forget that. Nor can we ever forgive that. Seared into our minds and hearts will be the date 9/11 and ever will it be.
