Wednesday, June 6, 2018 South West Michigan – Sunny To Cloudy today
Currently 60 with an average SSE wind of 3 mph making no difference so it feels like 60 degrees. Dew Point 47, Humidity 62%, Barometer 30.00 & rising, Visibility 10 mi, Sunrise 6:03 am, Sunset 9:18 pm. Sunny to partly cloudy today. High 74. SSE winds 5 – 10 mph.
Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of overnight rain. Low 59. SSW winds 5 – 10 mph.
It’s chilly this morning but hopefully it will warm up this afternoon. And it would truly be nice if it would stay warmed up. Looks to be a chance of rain Friday and Saturday and I don’t really see much in the line of 80 degrees coming my way, but fingers crossed. It’s summer and I want summer to be warm. Very warm.

Hi Pat! Admiring your picture – nice contrail. I try to track and photograph those, along with clouds in general. I participate regularly in the NASA GLOBE CLOUD program regularly, documenting the cloud cover at the time including details on any contrails I see. You could join in on the phone – as long as you have a smart phone, you download the app and register and start documenting your cloud observations. For more information on the program and joining, go to https://www.globe.gov/web/globe-international-stem-network It is fun and you really learn a lot! They have great helps, like this Cloud Identification Chart that I have printed out and up on my wall just above my computer. Take care and keep posting those great cloud pictures!
