Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 South West Michigan – A Blustery Day

Currently 25 with a SW wind of 18 mph dragging that down to feeling like 12 degrees. Dew Point 23, Barometer 30.1, Humidity 76%, Visibility 9 mi, Sunrise 8:08 am, Sunset 5:36 pm. Mostly cloudy becoming partly sunny this afternoon. High around 30. SW winds 15 – 25 mph.

Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy tonight. Low in the mid 20s. SW winds 10 – 15 with gusts to 25.

The wind was whipping around in pretty good form all night and it’s still kicking up today. Every time I hear the word blustery, I think of Winnie the Pooh. Always will, I guess. So, it’s going to be a blustery day, Piglet.  At any rate, it’s a tad warmer and we’re heading into a bit of a thaw about next Monday and Tuesday with some rain coming in. That sounds good except the nights will still be dropping down enough to make the roads miserable the next morning…and then by Wednesday, back to serious reality again. Oh well….it’s a Michigan winter.
