Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023-SW Michigan-Shortest Day Will At Least Be Dry
Currently 32 with a 4 mph wind from the ESE. Feels like 23 degrees. Dew Point 29, Barometer 30.41, Humidity 90%, Visibility 8 mi., Sunrise 8:10 am, Sunset 5:10 pm.
Cloudy. High in the upper 30s. E winds 5-10 mph with gusts to 20 until about midday.
Cloudy overnight with a 30% chance of rain showers. Low in the mid 30s. SE winds 5-10 mph.
From today on, it’s all good. At least for me. We may only gain a second or a minute at a time, but gradually our days will get longer, the nights shorter and we’ll end up with more sun than clouds. Eventually. But now we’re heading in the right direction.
Today will be dry, and maybe Sunday, but look for rain most every other day for the coming week. Christmas Day will be a rainy one for us. No snow this year, but who knows what next year will bring? May be a White Christmas then. And we all know we’ll be getting snow soon. We have January and February ahead of us and we can count on snow showing up during those months. Just not this Christmas. Be merry anyway. Just with an umbrella handy rather than a snow shovel.
